Oceanliner Designs' MV Wilhelm Gustloff Memoral Fundraiser

By Michael Brady Join Me

Please help me raise vital funds for Médecins Sans Frontières

It was the largest loss of life in a single ship sinking in all of history. In 1945 the cruise ship Wilhelm Gustloff was evacuating German combatants and refugees from the East when it was caught and torpedoed by the Soviet submarine S-13. The deadly chain of events that led up to the ship's sinking were set in motion years before as the Reich began a campaign of bloody carnage across Europe dooming millions. Today wars rage around the globe and countless millions suffer showing that even though the Wilhelm Gustloff disaster occured 81 years ago we, as a species, have learned few lessons from the carnage of War and it is inevitably civilians - normal people like you and I - who bare the cost while policy-makers and beaureucrats make decisions that kill. In memory of the victims of the Wilhelm Gustloff disaster and the many who have died in wars since I would like to warmly invite you to take a stand with me today and help those who need us.
~Mike

Wilhelm Gustloff film released!

Sunday 26th Jul
This week after months of hard work from the team we are excited to finally release our Wilhelm Gustloff documentary! While we were working on this film another war erupted that saw civilians killed and wounded making the Gustloff story feel so much more real and pressing even though it happened 81 years ago. I am personally proud to use my channel and my platform to try to raise awareness for this kind of initative and its my first time doing it. If you enjoyed our film or found it moving please consider donating a little change to MsF using this page to help make a big difference in the world.

I’ve been a casual fan for a while, randomly got the Wilhelm Gustloff video in my recommended. It was honestly heartbreaking. Thank you for putting it together. To see the horrors of war and the emphasis on civilian casualty is horrific. And the real shocker that left me wanting to do more: the fact it’s all still going on. I hate war. It’s endless suffering started by people ‘in charge’. Something we don’t have much, if any, say in. So we have to help where we can. Thank you for your videos and particularly this video. Made me cry.
