Raising funds for Médecins Sans Frontières - especially for kids in Gaza and places affected by crisis and conflict
My name is Solenne I'm 11, and my younger sister Farah is 9. We have spent lots of time in Palestine and other countries with kids from all over. Each year we (and whoever wants to join!) make a fundraiser to support all the amazing things Médecins Sans Frontières do (including our own aunty!) for kids in Gaza and around the world.
You may remember us from Paws for Peace 2023 (Australia), Jump for Gaza 2024 (Vanuatu) and other fun events we have been involved in, raising funds for MSF!
This year, on Sunday Dec 14th- Farah and I will run 15km (well, we will be doing a lot of huffing and PUFFING to try!!) from our house in St Prex all the way to Lausanne - AND in the extra extra extra cold Swiss winter. Whoever wants to join is welcome, and every donation counts (whether its a little or a lotta).
***UPDATE*** we DID it!!! 20kms in -2 temps....! BIG thank you and let's keep the pressure on Israel and the world to support the most vulnerable in Gaza and surrounds. Up to 37 vital NGOs (inc several country MSF offices) have been deregistered by Israel (news at 31/12/25) - which will further frustrate efforts to support families living in freezing, desperate conditions this winter.
