Please help me raise vital funds for Médecins Sans Frontières
I have been a nurse all my working life and know how lucky we are to have access to medical care when we need it. I want to help Medicins Sans Frontieres provide such care for those that do not have access. In war zones, refugee camps and famine affected areas.
People in third world countries often have to walk miles for medical care so I thought a sponsored walk would be a fitting way to raise funds for this wonderful organisation
At the end of August 2021 I will begin the biggest challenge of my life. To walk the Bibbulmun Track from Perth in Western Australia to Albany; a distance of 1003 km., in about 7 weeks. Carrying a backpack with all my needs and camping along the way. If I know that I am raising money I will be encouraged to push through on the days when the walk seems unending. Any amount , however small, will be greatly appreciated. A portion of the funds will also be donated to The Bibbulmun Track Foundation who will be assisting me with planning my walk.
