Special Guest Dr Aziz Bhimani will speak of his recent work in Gaza and answer questions. Dr Sarah Abdo, a Sydney endocrinologist & daughter of a 1948 Palestinian will also speak and answer your questions. Dr Hanady Nasreddine will also be available to answer questions.
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international and independent medical humanitarian organisation delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters, and exclusion from healthcare. We offer assistance based on need and irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation.
Funds raised from the movie screening will support MSF's Work in Gaza.
MSF is active across Gaza and the West Bank, supported from Jerusalem.
In Gaza, MSF operates in two hospitals (Al Helou & Nasser), supports Al Aqsa hospital remotely, runs two field hospitals in Deir Al Balah, four PHCCs, and three clinics. Services include: surgery, wound care, maternity, paediatrics, physiotherapy, primary health, vaccinations, mental health care, and water distribution.
