Friday 19th JanDoing my last walk now… 215km walked in the last 43 days with over $2000 raised! Firstly, I want to say an enormous thank you to the people who donated to this fundraiser. Your support means so much. Secondly, during my fundraiser I received countless of messages, likes, comments, phone calls from people telling me what a great thing I was doing. I felt so supported and felt I was able to make a difference, when I needed it the most. All of those feelings of goodness and love I was able to experience is because of the people of Palestine. My heart still aches seeing the incomprehensible suffering they’re experiencing daily. I also know they show more humanity than most on this planet. While this genocide continues it’s important that we share and spread awareness. But more importantly learn about the strength, bravery, compassion and determination of the Palestinians. From the river to the sea 🇵🇸 ❤️

Walk for Palestine
Wednesday 6th DecThose who know me know I walk around the Cooks River as part of my daily routine. For the last 2 months, so much of my time spent going for those walks has been thinking about the atrocities committed against the Palestinian people. A lot of the time on those walks I’m overwhelmed with feelings of helplessness and despair. Even though every weekend our voices grow louder in Sydney and across the world, the death toll rises. But it is my responsibility to keep putting one foot in front of the other and doing what I can do to support Palestinian victims of violence, and to show Palestinian Australians that I walk with them. From now until the 19th of January, I will be walking 5km everyday, to raise money for urgent medical care for people in need in Palestine. Doctors Without Borders is prioritising human rights over political agendas. Everyone keeps saying “this is too complicated” leaving us to feel like we can get away with not doing anything. But I can’t stand back while children are being denied urgent medical care and basic human rights. Please donate, every dollar counts. Think of it as your Christmas present to me. ❤️
