What I’m doing
Thursday 11th JunOn July 26 I will be running the Yeppoon half marathon. My aim for this race is to show support for the charity Medicines Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) (MSF). For the next 44 days I will be running every day to show support and raise money for their cause. MSF’s purpose is to provide medical aid globally, they currently are helping in 70 countries worldwide. This is in areas of conflict, epidemics, disasters, crisis and famines. They provide rapid medical response and build longterm projects to reduce healthcare crises. I am completing this fund-raiser in honour of my Grandpa David Adermann and Uncle Robin McCosker. Both of whom’s lives were made happier, longer and more comfortable thanks to local healthcare systems. I am forever grateful to those who helped them, I hope that through fundraising, we can help other families globally have access to the same or even better quality of healthcare.
