Mother's Day is approaching and we will all celebrated that special person in our lives.Becoming a mother is a source of great joy - but giving birth is still a very dangerous time in the life of many women. In our Pacific Region, less than 50% of women receive antenatal and post-natal care. Most perinatal deaths are preventable if women have access to medical care.
I support Medecins sans Frontieres because they provide maternal and infant care in our Pacific Region, including family planning.
For this Mother's Day I invite you to make a donation to MSF in order to help all women celebrate a great Mother's Day.
This online fundraising page will show some predetermined donation amounts and what resources they fund, but you are free to write your own amount.
